Struber was built to perform

Our Founder, Julie Castle, grew up in Far North Queensland inside a family-run building business, experiencing construction firsthand. The standard was simple: do it right or not at all. What you build must stand for generations.

That standard still defines Struber today. We operate where infrastructure value is most often lost – at the seams. Between vision and strategy. Between procurement and delivery. Between asset and organisation. These are the moments where value is either protected or lost.

Today, Struber supports more than $700 billion in infrastructure investment across 1,500+ projects Australia-wide. Our growth has been deliberate – expanding our services, widening our footprint, deepening sector capability, adopting AI enabled systems and building a nationally connected, majority female team recognised for accelerating careers and raising standards across the sector.

2014

Struber is founded

Struber is founded on the Gold Coast with a clear brief: infrastructure success is earned through trust, alignment and disciplined leadership, not just technical delivery. Communication and project positioning is not an add‑on or support function. It is integral to delivering performance infrastructure.

2015

City shaping impact

Struber supports the opening and close‑out of Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 1 embedding stakeholder engagement and community legacy initiatives as part of practical completion. The project becomes a reference point for how major transport projects can open safely, confidently and with community support.

2016

From engagement to embedded advisory

Struber begins embedding directly within delivery teams, expanding beyond traditional communications into critical startup, governance advisory and leadership alignment where delivery risk is highest, including delivering the pivotal startup for the $19 billion Cross River Rail project.

2017

Procurement and tender success

The team becomes a trusted partner to contractors and government during tender and procurement phases, helping shape bids that transition seamlessly into delivery. Setting projects up to perform, not reset.

2018

Scaling capability

Struber supports Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 2 and Stage 3, working from tender through to delivery with contractors and government partners. Struber’s reputation for big ideas and operating calmly under scrutiny and pressure continues to grow.

2019

National footprint

The demand for Struber’s services continued to rise, and so did our team. Our work expanded across states, supporting complex transport and infrastructure programs including Newcastle Light Rail, Canberra Light Rail, and Parramatta Light Rail, delivering consistent stakeholder, governance and leadership approaches.

2020

Performing under pressure

Amid the disruption brought by COVID‑19, Struber adapts by design, maintaining momentum across live projects while supporting leaders and workforces through uncertainty. During this period, we reinforce internal systems, strengthen delivery discipline and introduce new services, including large‑scale culture frameworks and workshops.

2021

Major program advisory

Struber deepens its role on nationally significant programs, embedding across North East Link in Victoria (Australia’s largest road project and PPP) to strengthen consortium culture, align leadership and support workforce engagement, reinforcing culture as a core delivery system rather than a by‑product.

2022

Energy transition leadership

Struber plays a key role on Snowy 2.0, supporting workforce engagement strategy, stakeholder positioning and project reset following intense scrutiny. The team designs structured engagement and legacy approaches across regional communities and workforces.

2023

Recognition and industry leadership

Struber is recognised nationally for leadership and innovation, including awards for accelerating women in business and infrastructure. Struber’s services now span planning to operations, ensuring assets, systems and people are ready to scale beyond delivery.

2024

Legacy and culture at scale

Struber delivers large‑scale culture, workforce and legacy initiatives, helping programs move beyond “build and exit” thinking, including partnering with Health Infrastructure Queensland to support leadership alignment and system improvement across the state’s health infrastructure program.

2025

Built for what’s next

Struber strengthens its operating model and expands its role in renewable energy, supporting major energy transition and clean energy programs nationwide. Struber reinforces its position as a trusted advisor on nationally significant infrastructure programs and is appointed partner to Brisbane Airport Corporation for capital projects market engagement.

Our approach

Every project is different, but the workflow is the same. We do the early work to set projects up for success to give you confidence that the outcomes will achieve your goals.

Where to next

The journey continues, fuelled by the same entrepreneurial spirit that started it all.

Struber is focused on disciplined leadership, lifecycle performance and systems that help partners turn bold ideas into Bright Impact delivering infrastructure that is smarter, stronger and built to thrive for generations.
