Pivoting to a digital engagement program to align with lockdown restrictions.

Developing and delivering a community and stakeholder engagement program.

This project came to life as the Government client made a $1.46 billion commitment to transform Melbourne Arts Precinct into one of the great creative and cultural destinations in the world, making this project one of Australia’s largest cultural infrastructure initiatives.

As part of Struber's methodology, the Struber team were embedded into the project team, which included stakeholders for the numerous departments and the newly formed Melbourne Arts Precinct Corporation (MAP Co).

As part of the project, Struber:

  • developed and delivered a community and stakeholder engagement program to support the application by our client to the Minister
  • developed a digital presentation to facilitate engagement during our workshops, as well as providing updates to the client's website
  • created a detailed analysis to identify any issues or items which might influence or impact future engagement, this also provided a basis to plan who to engage with and how
  • facilitated an ‘Engagement 101’ presentation to assist capacity building in project teams, for present and future tasks.
Struber’s tactics across the engagement program were required to pivot from face to face to a digital program to align with government lockdown restrictions.
